Materials and Finishes Specifications

     Material:

• Cold-formed inserts are manufactured from standard Unistrut channel sections conforming to BS EN 10326 S280 or BS EN 10025, unless otherwise noted.
  
  
• To inhibit concrete, all inserts are supplied prefilled with a foam insert.
  
  
• Most concrete inserts are available in pre-galvanized and HDG finish. Stainless steel is available to order; consult Unistrut Limited for ordering information.

Application:

• Concrete inserts can be installed in floors, walls, ceilings etc. for the support of all types of piping, conduit, cable support and other industrial equipment.
  
  
• Unistrut nuts can be inserted anywhere along the length of the insert, providing a means of attaching all kinds of fittings or rods where required.
  
  
• Concrete inserts can be supplied in pre galvanised, hot dip galvanised and stainless steel finish. Details on request.

Design Load:

• Design loads, where shown, are based on 25N/m² concrete.

Standard Lengths:

• Insert lengths are 6 metres.
